Tortoises website. The advert will not appear until we

only have to contact you (by return e-mail address) if
we are not able to accept the advert copy.
Your advert copy must be legal,
decent, honest and truthful and comply with the British
Code of Advertising Standards Authority. We may amend
the advert to ensure compliance with such requirements.
We are not able to verify the
truthfulness of any statements made by you in your
advert. Accordingly, you shall be responsible for any
losses, expenses or other costs incurred by us which are
caused by an untrue statement deliberately made or
provided by you.
Sellers must only submit images of their own which they
have full intellectual rights to. By submitting an

Your Personal Data
By submitting your advert, you are
requesting that your advert appears on our Website. This
means that the advert, including your telephone number
and email details (where applicable), can potentially be
viewed by all persons with Internet access throughout
the world. You consent to the publication of your data
in this way.
Change of Circumstances, Cancellations and
Interruptions
Once accepted you may amend your
advert in accordance with the instructions given on the
reply email when you first submitted your advert. You
have the right to withdraw your advert for any reason at
any time.
Your advert will expire 3 months after
submission. It is the responsibility of the seller to
inform us when a tortoise is sold as to prevent
disappointment to prospective buyers. The seller must
also inform us of any other change of circumstances that
may affect the status of their advert.
Once we have been informed that a
tortoise is no longer available for sale, the
advert status will be marked as 'SOLD'. If after 3
months we do not receive any notification, then the
advert status will be marked as 'EXPIRED' until such
point where the seller requests for their advert to be
reinstated. Eventually, 'SOLD' and 'EXPIRED' adverts
will be removed during a classifieds update.
